SSNAP – (Shared Safety Net Action Plan)

Cancer doesn’t always show big warning signs. Sometimes the signs can be strange or hard to notice. SNAPP (Shared Safety Net Action Plan) is a program that helps clinicians catch cancer earlier in people who have these strange or hard to notice symptoms. The program gives people a personalised plan or “safety net” that they can take home, which explains what to watch for and when to go back to the clinicians. This helps clinicians find cancer sooner. Affinity Care will be taking part in this research by comparing anonymised patients who receive verbal information with those who receive written information.
