Covid Vaccination Booster Programme
We are currently offering covid boosters at a number of our sites. The main vaccination site is Shipley but we are also running “pop-up” sites at Sunnybank, Cowgill, The Willows and Thornton.
We have been inviting eligible patients via text messages. The message will have a link that you can click on. This link will be individual to you. After you confirm your date of birth, you will be able to choose an appointment from a list of available appointments.

COVID vaccination certificate
An NHS COVID Pass shows your coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccination details or test results. This is your COVID-19 status. The easiest way to get an NHS COVID Pass is to download the NHS App from the Apple Store or Google Play.
You may be asked to show your pass to get into some events or to travel abroad.

Please note that this practice is not able to provide you with a letter that shows your COVID-19 vaccination status.

If you are one of our immunocompromised patients then you may be offered an additional dose of the Covid vaccine. This is different from the vaccine booster that will be offered to all patients.
Studies indicate some immunocompromised people do not always build as high a level of immunity after vaccination as immunocompetent people do. An additional dose may prevent serious COVID-19 in people whose immune system may not have fully responded to their initial 2-dose vaccine series.
Some of the conditions and treatments that result in immunosuppression include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Active treatment for solid tumor and hematologic malignancies
Receipt of solid-organ transplant and taking immunosuppressive therapy
- Receipt of chimeric antigen receptor (CAR)-T-cell or hematopoietic stem cell transplant
- Moderate or severe primary immunodeficiency (e.g., DiGeorge syndrome, Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome)
- Advanced or untreated HIV infection
- Active treatment with high-dose corticosteroids, alkylating agents, antimetabolites, transplant-related immunosuppressive drugs, cancer chemotherapeutic agents classified as severely immunosuppressive, tumor-necrosis factor (TNF) blockers, and other biologic agents that are immunosuppressive or immunomodulatory.
