I refuse to deal with firearms certificate requests based on my conscientious objection
I graduated from Birmingham University in 1994 and followed a surgical career at first gaining my FRCS in 1998. After a change to general practice I moved to Bradford in 2001. I have been a partner at Haigh Hall since February 2002. My interests are in minor surgery, joint injections, skin lesions and medical student teaching.
In my spare time I love to read – detective novels are my favourite – and also to watch football with my son. (Come on the Tigers!) in the past couple of years I’ve also started to play 5 a side football – but don’t think a call up from the Lionesses is on the cards any time soon!
What one word would people use to describe you? I’m not sure what word people would use to describe me – verbose maybe!
What do you like most about working in general practice? I love working in general practice as I enjoy the privilege of consulting with and treating multiple generations of the same family.
