A wee Yorkshire lass with a Scottish heritage. I graduated from the University of Manchester in 2010 having completed my 5 years of medical school. In 2017, I completed my GP speciality training on the Pennine GPST programme covering Calderdale and Kirklees. I started working at Thornton Medical Centre (Affinity Care) after completing my GP training in April 2017 before taking a year out for maternity leave following the birth of my second child in December 2017. Whilst on the training programme to become a GP I did 6 months at a hospice and have a keen interest in palliative care and hope to develop this further.

Being a local farmers wife (from May next year J ) my hobbies predominantly centre around my 2 young children and the farm, with a little travel , theatre and the odd spa day for good measure when time allows.
